He graduated from Ankara University Department of Social Anthropology in 2002 and completed his master’s degree in Sociology at Middle East Technical University in 2008. He has approximately 20 years of experience as a social anthropologist/sociologist in various national social research projects and development programs. His main areas of interest and expertise include rural development, cooperatives, child labor, living and working conditions of seasonal migrant agricultural workers, foreign migrant workers in agriculture, business and human rights, and social assessment.
